My first real level, Island Rescue, is about half done. I don't want to give it all away, but be assured that there will be more puzzles and exploration than shooting. Stealth is also a big factor - stay in the shadows to prevent yourself from being seen, etc. The level will spanover different periods of a day, begining in the early morning, through the night, and end in the early morning the next day. Plenty of intrigue and double crossings, with around five "cutscenes" to futher twist the plot.
(I had to do all the voices myself, so it sounds kinda funny!)

Go here for some screenshots of the first area: http://members.tripod.com/trlibrary/id48.htm

and tell me whatcha think!

Yeah, but I don't have a paint program that supports tga, so I can't do a custom, and given the vast differences between areas in the level, jungle, plane, etc, i need lots of textures. texture edit only lets me have about 2/3 page of textures. Where can I d/l a paint prgm that will open tga? (not paint shop pro - I hate it)

Yes, sure, you can post all my outfits. I have a template, too, but it is for strpix 1, and nobody uses it anymore. It is good for beginners, though. Thanks!

Raider of Tombs,
Level looks really cool. I'm checking into decent downloads of 'paint' progs. for you now. I use MGI PHOTSUITE. Last I checked it runs about $75.00. It supports many different types. And the airbrush is Awesome!

Anyhow, I am certainly glad to see your site back again! You have no idea how long I was trying to get those beloved templates. I finally managed to get one somewhere, then I made my own.

~UPDATE~!!!
Here's your answer, go to http://www.productivewebpages.com/
make your way through to page two of "Creating Lara's Outfits", and download VCW Vickaman's Photo Editor.

This baby supports TGA and quite a few others.

Though I know you're already an expert outfit designer, I suggest checking out the "Starter.WAD" if you haven't already. This puppy makes life soooooo much easier!

Thankyou, but the translator works great - I've also given my plane a new paint job - it needs some shadows, though, now. (same link above)

Thanks, tommy, (sorry we posted at the same time) I'll take a look at that too. (also I was an okay outfit designer, until strpix 3 came out - The program works great for everyone else, but crashes my computer. sighh.) i do have opengl, so that's not it...

Cool! But I hope you have some lightings there. What geckokid hates most in Theresa's level is the flat shaded lara. ie no lights in the room. This destorys the atomsphere.
