Can these be done:

Make the screen fade out and transport lara to a different place in the map and fade in again?

Have a sas guy stand still (guard mode) and not start attacking until a trigger is pressed?

Only trigger an event if a certain item is in lara's inventory?

Make the sas bullets do more harm?

Any answers to any of these would be greatly appreciated!

I think there is an AI that stops an SAS from atacking Lara unless he sees her.

An enemies power is hardcoded in the exe so you can't change it. I hope this helps...

no to all them but about the thing with the inventory triggering things, just put a pickup trigger for whatever the thing you want to put in your inventory, when she picks it up, it triggers something

You can make lara 'teleport' to another place by using a finish trigger as said in the manual. instead load the level you are on by putting 'larastartpos' in another place of the level. the fading, cannot be done anyway.

No, there has to be a way of doing some of it! noooo! This is super-necessary stuff! arrugh! ooog! pant pant... Isn't there some way of transporting lara - that's the most important - I could have sworn there is a way!

sorry gekokid, we posted at the same time - can you give me step by step instructions on how to do what you just said? (i don't really need fading...)

1. Let your level placed 1st in the script file.
2. On the square you want Lara to be teleported, set this trigger

Trigger FINISH 1 (the level number)
Type Trigger
Timer 1 (or any number else if you want another place have teleports too)

3. On the square you want Lara to teleport to, place a Larastartpos object here. Type 'O'(not zero) for OCB panel, type the same number as you typed in the finish trigger timer field. For the object, the base of the pyramid (that red null mesh i mean) means where Lara will be facing after the teleportation.

Hee heee, I didn't get the teleport to work, but I've got an effect that is just about the same, transporting lara from one environment to another without moving there! Guess you all will just have to play the level to see it (or rather experience it, because you can't see it)! haha it is really cool..
