I downloaded your school wad because i wanted to see if my problem (the one i emailed you...) is in my wad or in the game, so i imported your wad into my level... and when i played it your object were black (well actouly just dark) like my object. so my problem is probably... waht is the problem? maby the video card... can u help me? or somebody?!PLEASE!!! ------------------

download STRPIX 3.5 rev1 wherever you can find it, and reimport your DXFs again with it in a new wad.That problem is fixed. ------------------

thanx, but i tried it, the object are effected from lara's shots and the flare, but the object is still dark! and jliboy64's object are dark too!... (school wad)[This message has been edited by doron (edited 08-06-2001).] IP: Logged |

nope,my objects are not black! did you turn off the volumetric lights in the setup???------------------

you know, i think it might be your graphic or video card, cuz this happened with your custom objects too right? but usually the things are not that dark, so it must be your computer  ------------------

its gotta be , cuz i never had really dark objects, i can alwayz adjust the color of the object in the level editor with the object tint, and you have seen my screenshots, they looked fine------------------

in the level editor i can change the tint too and it's work, i can see the object like every object, the problem is just in the game...------------------

I already told you what's the matter, in order the lightning work properly again you have to rebuild and reimport again in a new wad your custom objects. If you don't want to listen, it's ok.------------------

psiko, it works fine for me! the lighting is fine! it's not cuz of stripix3.5! doron is the only case of this happening! so it must be his comp! if this happend to anyone that is reading this post, please post your message here! so i know if it is a common problem------------------

shadows? what do you mean? casting shadows on the ground or shading shadows? or do you mean that they are dark------------------

Psiko, i read it already but it's not the problem look, i posted 2 pictures, 1. the bright object is original, the other is my creation (i even didn't change any shape!), the object is textured!
 2. this is the school wad, now you see, the table is effect from the flare, but it's still very dark (all other object are darker too exept lara.
 it have to be my computer or something, can u figure what it can be...
