When I went to kita-shinjuku years ago, the folks were talking about semi-shigure. Do you know what it means??

semi-shigure is the sound of the insect, during the summertime, in Japan that goes:
"WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
