I have a trigger for the fixed camra to show a door opening. But the camra stays glued to that door and doesn't snap back to Lara. How to I make it hold for about 2 seconds and then snap back to Lara afterwards without it holding on that door forever?

Thanks!

I suppose you use the timer option? I've never done anything like this before but that sounds right...

Set the trigger for the camera to "One Shot"

Then enter "2" in the timmer.

That should work.

You enter the time (in seconds) in the set trigger type pop up box.

Oops didn't read the question.

You need to use a camera target.

I'll tell you how to do it just give me five min. I have done this before.

Use a basic camera instead, then use a camera target to point it at it, then enter the time in seconds in the set trigger type pop up box.

First place the switch opens the door. Click on the switch then click on the square below the switch and trigger it...set the trigger type to a switch.

Then place your fixed camera where it to be be looking at the door from. Then place a camera target from the objects menu where you want the camera to be looking at.
Use the floor + and - buttons to raise and lower them.

Then trigger the fixed camera to the square with the switch. Click on the text box next to the pink trigger button and enter "2" into the timer for the trigger of the camera.

Then trigger the camera target on the same square as the switch twice. On one of the triggers for the camera target..click on the text box next to the pink trigger button. Then then in the set trigger type window click the text box next to "Trigger". Select "target" from the list. Leave the other trigger for the camera target like it is. Then trigger the door on the same square as the switch.

Thats how I do it.

How you use the switch the camera will look at the door opening...then snap back to Lara.

There's a other way to do it.
use your flyby cam.
put it in the direction you wish.
and press o not 0 but o, now you see the obc screen.
press the button 0,8 and 6.
if it is ok.
it should work.
