ive just got a new computer and reinstalled all of my tombraider games, all are fine except for tr3 which will play cutscenes but not FMV's!!! and tr2 which wont play any audio sound!!, has anyone got any suggestions?, thanks

Try running 'Setup Tombraider' and you should find that you can enable sound and FMV's.

I'm running version 8.0 without any of the problems you described. Bear in mind that you cannot uninstall version 8.0 - it permanently becomes part of your operating system. Therefore, if you need to use earlier versions of DirectX do not upgrade to 8.0, just upgrade your video card drivers and sound card drivers.
