I'm sure you were all as pleased as me when you heard that Eidos had banned "The Real Tombraider". But I'd just like to say thanks to them for doing this, I'm sure he will only log on again as a different user, but we'll just get him banned again, and again, and again! Now there's one less idiot in this forum to worry about and at least we know that Eidos do listen to what goes on in here.
Thanks Eidos for keeping this forum the way it is supposed to be!

Mentioning that he'd log on as a different user would probably get him to do so... oh well! We can just keep getting him banned I guess.------------------

Greetings...There are Standards of Behavior that, although pretty minimal from our perspective, need to be followed if you intend to use this Service..the Eidos Forums. Not to preach, but these are Guidlines to think of. Guidelines for Community This Forum generally does not need a lot of hand-holding in my opinion, but I know Reb is not as active as she could be. Perhaps it is time for a more active Moderator for the Level Editor Forum. I put it out to this community...if there are any suckers - whoops - I mean volunteers who are members of this Forum, and would like to consider taking the thankless title of Moderator feel free to email me and we can discuss the possibility. don't you people get it???
as I explained to jliboy64 before: just ignore people like that real tombraider (or something), because if you try to fight back, it will only provoke him to counterI know there are a lot of lonely people out there who get a kick out of talking so "tough", but in real life they're most likely to be powerless, so they do this believe me, ignoring people like that is the ONLY way to get to them!

The Real Tombraider was just a guy who came into this forum and had absolutely no interest in TR what so ever. He repeatedly added insults to peoples posts of a b*tchy and rude nature, and insisted on graphically explaining what he would like to do to Lara Croft. Despite the fact that she is not real. Anyway, although we tried to ignore him some people felt that they needed to hit back (which you would understand if you had read some of his posts) and he just kept the insults coming. Several people wrote to Eidos and complained about him, and our good mates at Eidos decided that enough was enough and got rid of him. For how long I don't know, but at least it's a start!IP: Logged |
