Seriously, though, Grey Mouser was the person who decided who was going to be a moderator. I apologize to everyone who did not get this position. I'm sorry if you feel angered, envious or even jealous, but please remember that moderators are actually just a small step above Members. You must also remember that just because I am a moderator does not mean that you are any less qualified than me.

And, in case you are wondering, we do not get any special privelages as moderators. Nothing like access to a super secret happy fun forum where Mods and Admins are only allowed...er, I've said to much

I have a question for Grey Mouser, I looked at the post where you offerred the opportunity. And that was yesterday, giving people less than 24 hours to apply! And it was buried deep within the thread. Why not publicly post a new thread like you have with this one?

I know you'll all have a go at me for this, but I just want my opinion to be heard.

First of all, I am really sorry that so many of you feel this way about my change of status. I applied to be a Moderator because I could see that, due to a few trolls, the forum had become a slightly less pleasant place to be in, compared to what it used to be when it first started.

I want to make it clear to everyone here that I want to share the responsibilities of being one of the Moderators with you. Being a Moderator does not mean that I am ‘better’ than you. I am just one of a few people who have volunteered to be the point of contact should anyone feel that something needs to be raised with the Administrators of this forum.

The games industry is very young and it is very likely that some of us will meet at some point in the future, if not very soon. I look forward to that, and I hope that you will receive a kind welcome.

And your're right...I could have handled this better to avoid stirring up such controversy. A sad side effect of Too Much to Do combined with a Lack of Tact I suppose.

My Method of asking for Moderators was based on Need. I am *TIRED* of certain individuals flaunting the (lax) rules and (semi-serious and benevolent) intent of these Forums. My fielding of complaints has gone up recently, adding to work I also need to do. Playing Police Officer to immaturity is not an efficient use of Anybodies time...but it was taking up too much of mine, so I asked for help.

Moderators are asked to contribute their time
and effort for no real reward. Give them a Chance. It is my decision that Wee Bald Man, Bullet ridden monkey **and Emma P** (check your email Emma? Sent response? maybe email problems on one of our ends?) have something to offer the Level Editor Forum...and this does Not Mean everybody who responded does not.

Moderators also agree to as a rule Gently, and if necessary Mercilessly, keep this Forum from degenerating into soemthing other than what it is Intended for...Mainly : to provide a Place for those with an Interest in Designing and Building Levels using the Tomb Raider Level Editor to Talk about and Share their work.

If you feel so insulted by my admitted speed, and have so little faith in my choices that you feel compelled to Leave the Forum...Sorry.

Maybe come back sometime. I hope you do.

No, your opinion is valid. Probably I should have held an election. What I did was get more responses than anticipated, respond to a few likely candidates, then not have email access for awhile, and then make the collosal error of not informing people before making members Moderators.

My fault. I plead hurriedness, but I do not believe I have made Bad choices. Please give them a Chance.

Also...I am still in the Review Process.
