Why would you want to make him disappear?

Dunno Dhama, but its a good bet that an unlisted flip-effect will do the job (same as the scarab beetles).

I have been going through every flip effect in the ope of finding something of any use, but the problem is that the effect of the flip effect depends on which wad you're using. So it could take forever!

Thereīs a reason.

Imagine this:

Lara looks through a fence to a big hall with dogs (or other baddie) walking around, to create a scarying mood. Maybe with a great flyby camera and audio track. But she canīt get there for now. Later in the level she finds her way to that place. Thereīs a camera showing her come in from another angle, which also shows the dogs. Well the dogs have to be retriggered to be in a certain position for the camera. If they were triggered earlier, they would be running around the scenario, and maybe getting stuck in some corner, as it happens. So it would be nice to make them just disappear when Lara crosses some antitrigger in a hidden part through her way to the mentioned big hall, and the retrigger them when she finally gets there.

I could not antitrigger any baddie.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

The reason I ask is that I want to create an effect of a ghostly ninja running at Lara and when he jumps at her he disappears.

Neat!! It can be done though. I do it, by using a trap object, but making the object invisible in a CAD program.

Well, say you have a blade trap. You make the textures on the object transparent, so It can't be seen, then when it triggers, it will Kill, say, a baddy, and you won't see it kill it.

---> to PHABIUS

for that problem you can use the grey box button in order to keep the enemy in a limitated room, and not going around and being framed on some square.

He is activated but he can't go besides those grey squares.

Read the last pages of the manual.
