I can be the size of your level, I have encouterd similar problems, I solved it by splitting the level in 2 parts and using dynamical finish triggers.IP: Logged |

dhama,I added a couple of things. But that don't matter.Cause I am an advid saver. I save all my prj. over and over again under different dates & times. I have went back atleast six or more saves that were tested. And they dont work. And Alexis, for the size of my level. I don't know. The only thing I can do is give all the info that the level converter gives me when I convert the level. And if you need that just let me know. And the idea of spliting the level is not good for me, because it would not look good for the level. It is based on a confined prison setting. Please help me. Thank You------------------ TOMB RAIDER FOREVER JEFF CONWELL IP: Logged |

Have you made any changes to the wad in any way? It sounds like you may have taken out some of her animations which would explain why the game freezes. In any case, it sounds like the game is looking for animations that simply aren't there so it crashes instead. Compare your wad with one of the originals and make sure that all the required animations are there. ------------------ http://www.angelfire.com/d20/emmastrle IP: Logged |

Other things that you could try...1. Run direct x diagnostic app that is in C:\program files\directx\ to see if there is any problem. 2. Check your scripts (if you've changed anything in them) 3. Try re-installing the editor.

Try adding the default sprites from an offical WAD. That might help it.------------------ http://www.geocities.com/hicho15/Lpage.html IP: Logged |

I'm sorry it took me awile to get back. I have been testing my saves. I have finaly found one that works. one problem, it realy shuggs in game when a major annimation is being preformed by lara or a sas or even the darn dog is triggered. Here is somthing else to look at. If I go back one save the shugging is not so bad. The further back the better. The problem may be that it is to large of a level. I don't know what is to big though. My level dosn't have guide or Von Croy in it. The default sprites thing is a joke. I have ran the direct x tool, and all is perfect. I have not changed the script seens day 1 of the start. And I re-installed the editor at least 5 or more times. And as for the WAD it is my own costom WAD with trwest2. I changed it 1 time and it still worked for a month or more. All I changed was her outfit to a custom outfit from the new city WAD. If you need any info on my pc or level info just ask. I will check back in a couble of hours. Because now I am at a stand still. Thank you all for your input at this time. But please help me more........ ------------------ TOMB RAIDER FOREVER JEFF CONWELL IP: Logged |

reading this sounds most likely to be a size limit you crossed, as others mentioned convert your level and make screenshots of tomb2pc output (you can scroll back when the conversion is complete)just ask here if you need help on posting the screenshots or take some more time and write the output in a reply I know that some people have had these size limit problems before, so a trained eye could spott your problem ------------------ Tomb Raider - Ancient Legends levels (2), walkthroughs, tutorials, wallpapers and other TR goodies on driber.cjb.net !!! new: the full release of the OBJECTS ARCHIVE is out !!! Hi Jeff,I agree with Alexis and Driber - it looks like a size problem. Compare the amount of Object Meshes and Null meshes with Angkor Wat level by Core. You have nearly double the amount (!). Also look at your room numbers, although it is possible to pass the 200 mark, again none of Core's level do this. I suggest that you do a test: 1) Save your PRJ file as 'Test' or whatever (make sure you do not delete your original PRJ file!) 2) Delete half, or even just a few of the rooms, and output again. If it runs smoothly then you'll have to think about splitting your level. Hope this helps. WBM [This message has been edited by Wee Bald Man (edited 08-17-2001).] IP: Logged |
