Topic: How do I make a dummy trigger? It doesn't work for me.

Dummy triggers doesn't work for me. When I add a bridge or trapdoor and some dummy trigger squares under it, Lara still falls through! What's wrong?Please help! Thanx :-) ------------------ hteS yb egasseM

I think you have to give the bridge a trigger.highlight the birdge and give it a tirrger some where.( set trigger type to dummy ). and i think that is it??????( i think ) IP: Logged |

You can't put triggers on the air,if your object is over a sector colisional with a room below, the put the dumy trigger at the solid sector in the room below. Check the manual, look at the "monkey swing" topic, this apply to dummy trigger too. tp.

Thanx for all your help!  I placed a TWO_BLOCK_PLATFORM (the sand) above a hole in one of my rooms and then placed a dummy trigger zone under it and it worked. Then I tested with ANIMATING16 from Title.tr4 (the bridge that the Seth statue is holding, you know) and that didn't work! I placed a regular trigger for ANIMATING16 under Lara, and a dummy trigger in front of Lara, and a dummy trigger zone under ANIMATING16. It still doesn't work! But TWO_BLOCK_PLATFORM works! But not bridges and trapdoors!
