Toko, school is truly a place of **** when some people choose to treat others badly, this I know from experience, but you just have to think positive and surround yourself with positive people inside and outside of school, and don't say that is impossible because nobody likes you, that just means you haven't spoken to the right people yet.Sweetie you have to know that when these people go home after school they don't think about you anymore, bullies don't have that kind of attention span, so don't allow them to infest every second of your time thinking about them and definitely don't let anything they say or do change the course of your life, only let people that truly care about you have that effect! Hi Toko,If you are getting bullied, you must tell your parents. Tell them to write to or phone your school. It is the school's responsibility to sort out bullies. Just remember, every single bully is always a very weak or unhappy person. That is why they bully because it gives them a feeling of power which they don't have in their own lives. After a while, if your school does not sort out the problem, then you must leave and go to a different school because it is very important that you are happy. It is good to talk to other people who have suffered from bullying. My girlfriend had a bad time at school because of bullies so if you want to email her, she will be happy to talk to you. Toko, I'm only 26 but I have finally realised that if friends make you feel bad or worthless then they aren't friends!And height has nothing to do with anything, I'm 6ft tall and I am no better than someone who is 4ft 3in, and in my presence they would know that because all that matters is respect, and if these people don't respect you then you don't need them! We all get just one life to live so don't waste it being unhappy, we can either be victims or victors, you're the only one who can decide which you want to be. If you keep talking so negatively, then that's the way you'll feel. If someone is bullying you, stand up to them or ignore them. From experience I know that if you ignore them they'll quickly stop. Also, it helps to know some martial arts or quick moves to get them off you if the need arises when you're being attacked. Just be you, and if they don't like it, then tough S**T!------------------

Hi Toko ,I'm sorry to hear that you are being bullied. I my self was seriously bullied a few years ago and I can remember how it feels to be in that situation. I know that you are thinking nobody cares and that no body understands, but please you must know that you are NOT ALONE and you DO matter a lot to your family and us. The key is to remember who you are and what YOU want. You MUST tell your parents about everything. I didn't want to for ages, cos I didn't know what to say and I didn't know how they would re-act but one day I sat down with them and told them everything and they totally understood and supported me. ANY parents would. Don’t be afraid to share your emotions, your family are the best and closet friends you will ever and always have. They are kindred. Also, tell your head of year or head master, I know it's difficult but it's worth it and they will want to help you. Life IS worth living. Get out some photo albums, dig into your memories and think about the wonderful things you WILL be when you are older. Life is truly amazing and experiences are there to make us stronger, at the time they may seem testing or un fair but in the end you will come out the best. Lara .S. +++ IP: Logged |

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, Toko.You've received a lot of good advice here, and in the final analysis it will be up to you, but here's my two pence: You have a lifetime of chances ahead of you.
They will not be chances for anything good if you remain defeated in your own head, though. No matter how grim the situation, do not be beaten in your own mind. That is the one place where the numbers and physical strengths of your adversaries can never touch you, unless you let them. Do not feel worthless. Bullies, among their various other lowly attributes, fear those who are more intelligent than they, and always seek to persecute them. The mere fact that they trouble themselves on your "behalf" indicates you have something worthwhile going on. If your friends bully you, they are not your friends. Never let someone else's regard or lack of it inform your own self-opinion. Be honest with yourself, but not defeatist. Rather than worry about what is happening to you, worry about what you are going to do to fix it. Good luck and hang tough. ------------------

Yeh school is a place of **** over here, but not in that sense....just in another way. In fact I hate my school so much that I might as well leave.Thinking about my school makes me mad. So many bastards and bitches.

let me just tell ya this. I was in the same situation as you two yrs ago. My "mates" used to beat the livin H E L L out of me evry break time. I reaaly hated school at that point. Then some guy i never knew existed came over and started asking me a question ( irony of ironies, the question was about Tomb Raider). Now me and him are best mates. Just go out, meet new people. and if they dont like you F**k em.------------------
