Topic: Can't convert my level...PLEASE HELP!!!!

I output the WAD, it saves fine until the message "Room WAD Output" shall pop up. Instead, the message "Roomedit has done an illegal operation...", (or something like that) pops up. Then Roomedit exits.I thought that the WAD was output, but when I converted, it says: "Cannot seem to load C:\Program\Core Design\TRLE\Graphics\Wads\Guard.tom". WHAT'S WRONG???????????? ------------------

Check everything is in the correct folder and that it's all in the script.------------------

Everything are in the correct folders.I have two computers. I transferred everything TRLE from comp A to comp B. On comp A it works without errors. It's on comp B I have the error. When I loaded the new-transferred project, a message says: "Argument too large" and I had to use Goldcat. Then I edited the level, outputted it and the error came. Whats wrong? I have everything in the correct folder. ------------------

P.S. It works to output other levels, but not the one I'm working on.------------------

gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............I have found out that only MY levels doesn't output. Every WAD that I'm using are edited in TRwest. It works to output my levels in computer A, but not in computer B. And now...what do I do? ------------------

I think it's too complicated to change outfits and stuff, so I don't do it.And remember: I cannot save to PRJ either. If nothing works, I will try to reinstall...because I burned CD-ROMS to copy over files and there may be errors with burned CDs. ------------------

Yeah, if ever I do something wrong, I just put the disc back in and reinstall the most fidly peice of software in the world. Bless...------------------

By the sounds of it, the paths to the TGA and/or WAS file have changed when you transferred ........ Assuming you can load your PRJ,..... reload your tga file and then your object file and try saving again...... if this works ok, then you should be able to output the WAD. BTW...... Did you rename the tga???? because you can inadvertantly cause an error if this is too long or has invalid characters in the file name....... Also, you havent tried copying rooms from one PRJ to another have you?..... it may seem to work at the PRJ stage, but you will never be able to output the level correctly..... ------------------
