I downloaded the TR level editor and tried to bring it up but it brought up a readme.

If it is a copy of the official Core Design/Eidos Level editor then you have an illegal copy ?... I would delete it immediatly, and go and buy TR Chronicles.

If it is a third party level editor then I would take it up with the author.
