i have been thinking about this for a couple of weeks now. and i have thought about it and i am gonna set up a web site on trle. but what host?

i heard geocities is good and so is angelfire. but which one?(no html hosts), u know i have to edit html) (i don't no how to work html)

Geocities, Tripod and angelfire are absolutely **** (Sorry). If you want something free then use Freeservers. http://www.freeservers.com

Angelfire is good, it's what I have. But I can't link pictures to show up on a page like this. So I have to have another site just to upload pictures on.

trf...at the end of the day...they all suck

if you can use a dial up isp like freeserve or genie, they dont restrict things like image linking and they dont delete your site for no reason and then not answer you emails when you try to find out why all your hard work is gone

As far as html, use dreamweaver or frontpage and it will do the coding for you. you will find you pick up a bit of html along the way

I use frontpage 2000, tis great!!! I still prefer to code by hand though, I don't know why, I just think you get more of a result if you do.

PS: Freeservers allow image linking, and a lot more.

I know everyone hates tripod but im having no problems with it. A lot of sites have been deleted but as long as you have all your files on your computer you can just publish your site again and its back up. Its not to hard to fix. I might change though just in case. But I still recommend tripod cuz its really easy.
