Yo, dudes - I'm having a real bad time with these features of the editor.....

I need to be able to make:

1] windows, gratings etc which can be seen
through but not passed through

2] windows, gratings etc which can be shot

I've seen example wads here but I haven't been able to reproduce the effects.

Would one of you who has done so successfully let me have a .PRJ file (pref. small) so that I can see where I'm going wrong.

- For the windows, grates, etc. do the following:

Choose the right texture (with transparent portions already edited to be pink, do it with your image editing software).

Create a door between the two rooms.

Select the door in the 2D grid. It will have a green outline.

Click Toggle Opacity button. The door will become red in the 3D window.

Apply the texture on the door.

Do the same for the other side, in the other room.


- For shatter windows, youŽll need the shatter window object. You can find it for download, but I donŽt remember where. Ask for it.

Anyone help on the shatterobjects please ???
