title says it all, im starting java, it's a fun language, and i need to have some people who might help me with it in the future  just so the mods cant close this, i will ask this: what's the best outfit you ever seen? ------------------

May I susggest that you do a search on yahoo or google for java tutorial??I picked up a load of useful material that way - staged from novice to expert with worked examples, sample code to crib etc. You can get the java development environment free from Sun. Conan IP: Logged |

jliboy, Please don't assume every post is going to be closed. If it is of interest to other forum users and is not just idle gossip, chances are it may be allowed to continue for a while. Also I would be grateful if you would cease implying that the 'Mods' are out to get everyone with 'just so the mods cant close this, i will ask this:'. Dhama.

All mine seem to be closed (500th post one mayB?? And I didn't see you closing melanies 200th post one  , obviously you don't like me... )I wanna know Java too, I know VB and bits of C and C++ but java seems like a fascinating language!! Go for it ------------------

Last year I had a course on Java. (I got 17/20)I known all the mathetical and logical issues of Java. I can make a java file that processes things. But we haven't seen thoroughly how to receive and output data.
Mostly it was in DOS. We have seen a little bit of applets.
