lara wont do it! ive place 2 poles one square apart, jump back, roll and grab. but she wont grab it she just falls, and i know it can be done cos that trick was in tlr, sacred lake i think it was, can anyone help?------------------

I think you can, but they have to be i think two blocks apart.------------------

I remeber lar doing a jump, roll, grab in a 'chimney' type structure in an earier level to avoid blades etc.... are you sure you've set the poles / textures / actions up right - I'm quite happy to be told so if I'm wrong - I just don't give up easily!!!Conan IP: Logged |

I haven't built pole / rope test rooms yet- I'll keep you in mind for when I have and let you know. There's a bit in TRC where lara climbs down a wall and spin jumps to a pole so in theory it should work - could be a TR5 only feature! I definitely remember clibing up a 'chimney' and doing this manoeuvre with climbing texture walls. will let you know Conan IP: Logged |

I just tested pole to pole and I've come to the conclusion that Lara can't use the action button after jumping from a polerope
but if someone can prove me wrong....please do!------------------

I had problem going wall to pole - until I realised it was the CHAIN / CABLE I was supposed to be jumping to.I'm wondering if it's just a matter of very careful placement, climbing texure / other settings if you know what I mean. Lara's able to jump rop to rope and that's on the move!!!! Shame I don't know someone at Core - I'd email them. Still not given up!!!!!!! Conan IP: Logged |
