Do you mean banner for use on a web site, or for use in forums postings (like to advertise your site here) ?

Have a look at
images/ubbcode.html

Then, if you look at
005027.html

and read my post with the keyboard picture

this is acheived by putting the code below
ALL AS ONE LINE - I've deliberately split it so you can read it - otherwise you'd just see the picture:

The forum presents the picture, and if you right click on the message you'll see that it has embeded the image using the HTML

i dont get it ok i load a image but what if i want to place letters ontop of it? i want to use a tombraiderpic and write the name of my site ontop of it. how do i create it?

go to http://www.jasc.com and download Pain Shop Pro...it's free and almost as good as Photoshop, so you will have lotsa functions and tools at your disposal

to get text on top of a picture, start learning to work with layers and you'll create cool stuff in no time

When did they make psp free?
I have psp5, never upgraded because the install for the downloaded version had bugs and I didn't want to go thru it all again.
In fact, I had to make a copy of the installed directory so I can install it again if I need to. The install just doesn't work anymore. Guess I'm lucky it installed once.
