Hi everyone i just finished my latest level "the museum" in italy were lara goes back to recover all her stolen relics it takes place in this museum of the iluminati yes the bad guys from da movie ok. now my problem as usual! i cant install the level ok i used the homesweethome objects and the tr2 venice textures what do i do? i didnt use doors so i wouldnt make it more complicated its around six rooms total but very large rooms! ok anyway can someone help ill be welcome to release the prj. file to help try installing it and by the way i must of downloaded someones level and i must of installed it wrong cuz my tr load screen and menu in the game were u pic ur levels to play and stuff is like in this other language how can i change it back to english? please respond.------------------

Hey, just a word of advice. If you want more people to answer your replies you should make the topic relevant to its content. People are less likely to think that this is just another silly post then.As far as the load screen etc goes. I strongly recommend that you make any copies of your original script and English files before you swap them for ones you have downlaoded. This will save you from having to reinstall the editor just to get the script file back. You could always ask people if anyone has the original script file that they could send you. Also, with regards to your level itself. What exactly happens, does it crash in game? Or before the game loads? You could always try testing the wad. For example, build a single room and texture it, then just put Lara and a few items from your wad in it. Then try and play it to see if there is an error in the wad that is making the game crash. ------------------

tombraiderdan69, if you don't want to install the program again and need the original script files, go to my site and download the tool I made for restoring your original scriptfiles. Just a double click and it's fixed!
click on Tomb Raider, Tools and download the "TRLE fixed English Script.bat + Original Script Backup"
it's a very small download and it has helped me out a lot of times beforegood luck ------------------

ok i have a problem i used ur fixer thingy and it says it didnt find the files and patch and all this other stuff and it didnt work if i reinstalll would i loose information? and if i do can i save it then use it once reinstalled?------------------

it depends on how you do the installation
select "custom" in setup and you will can choose which things you want to install and which not
if you ony select "script files" it will overwrite the script folder and everyting in it which was previously installedbut that backup tool is so you don't have to re-install when your scriptfiles aren't working anymore
just what did you do and what errors are you getting when running "Original Script.bat"? it works like a charm for me and for others IP: Logged |
