Welcome to the Yakkety Yak Zone.

If you find that your post outside of this thread has disappeared, it is very likely that it has been towed away by the Moderators to the OT Rubbish Dump.

Please park all of your OT stuff here.

its like winning the lottery and dying the next day.
its a black fly in your chardonnay.
its a death pardon, two minutes too late.
its like rain on your wedding day.
its the free ride when you've already paid.
its the good advice that you just didnt take.
its a traffic jam when your already late.
its a no smoking sign on your cigarette break.
its like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.
its like meeting the man of my dreams then meeting his beautiful wife.

but you might try to kill me
im not gonna kill you

Melanie opened OT Thread 2 with this song. Thread 1 was opened with a recital of poetry by Data and Spock. New OT Threads seem to attract the artists, philosophers, musicians and comedians of this forum..

I would like to thank counsellor WBM and commander Emma for continuing with this worthwhile charade and..... Hmm, I appear to have forgotten somebody... oh yes Mr BRM. I believe I will refer to you as Chief O'Bullet ridden monkey as you are so fond of beaming threads from this forum into the series forum, thank you also.

Sir Data,

On behalf of Her Majesty the Queen aka The Witch of Windsor, and all those who have enjoyed your never-ending supply of joy and mirth, I would like to Knight you and present you with the "McFoot-and-Mouth Golden Burger Award for Best Non-stop Entertainment By A Non-Human But Unfortunately Inedible Being".

May your presence here continue to offer hope for all those who navigate this treacherous and arid electronic desert that we inhabit.

Hope your Karma never runs over your Dogma,

WBM

Did you know that Mr. Data was also Washing Machine Of The Year 2310.
He will soon need a new display receptical to keep all these awards in. (Maybe he could use his spare head box?)

Mr Spock, You appear to be in error. The award in question was in fact 'Display receptical' of the year, and furthermore, I have never taken part in the game of cricket.
I would suggest a sabbatical to help ease the pain of old age and infirmity.
