if you thought that i was just looking for trouble with that post in the other forum, you were wrong

i was just pissed with how mods can delete my post clearing up some misunderstanding

as you know, people were talking about sage's secret today, and since sage was supposedly my "boss", and i was his "employee", i was to ask him questions, right? but unfortunately, mr.sage found the need to kick me off the project for asking questions, so now, im upset with him.
and in a post about sage's secret today, data put a little message saying that peopl shouldnt

Many people appreciate your talents and contributions to the TRLE community.

However, no-one appreciates having to read about things that are not related to the TR Level Editor. It is a very difficult job deciding what constitutes 'related' and what doesn't. The rule of thumb is as follows:

The content of this forum must either:

1) Provide information which teaches Members how to utilise the TR Level Editor.

2) Encourage Members to engage in a healthy, positive and constructive dialogue which leads to a sharing of ideas and an appreciation for the TR Level Editor's capabilities.

The forum is called 'Tomb Raider Level Editor' because that is its sole purpose - a place to discuss the TR Level Editor. As you are well aware, there are many other places which have become available for people to use if they do not want to talk about the Level Editor only.

If you do not like the way that this forum is run, then don't use the service it provides. If you do not like having your posts deleted or closed, then use a forum where that doesn't happen. It's very simple - we keep a tidy house because that is attractive to the hundreds of users that use this forum. Those users choose not to go elsewhere because this is what they prefer.

The rules have been designed to suit the needs of Eidos and the majority of the forum's users. The Moderators volunteer their time to enforce the rules. If you don't like the rules, email Eidos or the Moderators with your opinions in private. Please do NOT post them here in public, or they will be closed or deleted.

Exactly. I agree with you. It started out as a TRLE post but then it degenerated into a slagging match. That is why it was closed or deleted. NOT because it was originally unrelated but because it BECAME unrelated.

Hope that you understand now that this is why threads sometimes get closed or deleted. It's not because of the mainly good stuff that they contain - it because of the little amounts of bad stuff that they sometimes gather..
