1. The new Eidos mods, have taken a great responsibility upon themselves and have started cleaning up a forum that was beginning to look remarkably like the Series forum. (Or worse yet the Chronicles forum - - where is that one today?) True, Their 'house-cleaning' could have been done a tad more tactfully, but...

2. When several people are working to straighten out a particular misunderstanding, perhaps it would be more advantageous to all if patience could be exercised.

3. When it's obvious that a particular post has nothing to do with this forum, why post it just to see how long it will take before it's closed. This only aggravates the initial poster and everyone who visits this forum for help and advice, having to 'filter' through all the junk posts to find the help they need.

4. For everyone that says "DOWN WITH EIDOS" because of this, ridiculousness, remember that if not for Eidos/Core, there would not be Tomb Raider game, the Level Editor, or THIS OR ANY OTHER FORUM dedicated to its use!

In the past, this forum has grown to become a family of members dedicated to the advancement of the Level editing community and the Tomb Raider game. Let's not let it degrade to the point that no one dares come here because of the petty squabbling and inherent hostility involved!

Thanks for your comments. I agree with what you are saying.

The Administrators and Moderators have recently identified a very small handful of troublemakers who have no regard for the effect that their behaviour is having on these forums. We are finding that those few individuals are causing more time-wasting and aggravation than we or the Members of this forum can tolerate.

The time we spend trying to unravel petty fighting could be better spent helping people with their questions or working on our own projects. We feel that if we ban the few that cause all the aggro, that life on this forum will be more peaceful and productive.

I'll close this thread now because it's not related to Level Editing, but if you want to discuss this further then please feel free to email any of the Moderators.
