Stripx is a nifty little program for TRLE, one of the first user created supplimentals made. In early versions, it was most useful to extract the textures used for objects within a wad file... for re-texturing purposes. Its still useful for that as well as enabling you to pull polygons from one object and insert them into another. You can extract a polygon as well into a CAD program, edit it & change it, and insert it back in... for example, to change Lara's hair style, give her sunglasses, turn her shorts into a skirt even... Sorry, I personally haven't gone so far as to try to mess with editing the polygon meshes ( no CAD program ), though I know I've seen in this forum mention of good ones, even freeware.IP: Logged |
