as an American citizen, thank you all for your heartfelt expressions; it's truely comforting to know that the world is populated by kind, caring souls; not mindless robots programed to kill---
the mood of this country is --a great sadness, grief; like a cloud hangs over us--the brutality of this act is unimaginable to all sensible people! on a positive note, our president reminded the world that "those who harbor(aid & abet) terrorists are terrorists themselves". Terrorism is a War againest civilians; it uses civilian casualties to achieve a long range political objective. President Bush has expressed this simply & well: if a country cannot disperse terrorists who are either training in/or getting funds from within their country; this will be observed as an act of hostility;(this country is promoting a war againest civilians of another.) it remains to be seen if other countries around the world will embrace this doctrine. We all need to protect ourselves, the events of this week proved that-- there will be no WWIII as these terrorists wished for; insted, their sorry a**es will face justice.

Since I feel that America will overcome this terrible crisis, I wrote a poem:A tragedy consumes us all It did much more than just appall But through the wreckage, we have found A sense that justice will come 'round It's carried always in our hearts Those who are lost will never part For we are the United States Proudly we march through the gates Gates of sorrow, gates of pain No longer will there be a stain We will survive, we will prevail Through the wind and rain and hail With healing power in our hands Once more united, we shall stand There's also a wallpaper. Comments, please. ------------------ A Tribute to Lives Lost

I'm just glad they have made the progress they have, identifying the terrorists, who's all involved. And also that there are survivors from the WTC collapse. We'll all pull through, you mess with with one you mess with us all!

Hey I just heard on the radio that at 7:00 pm EDT tonight (14th), that everybody in the world is asked to light a candle outside. It doesn't matter if your in a car, at home, work, or where ever you are step outside and light a candle for those people who died in New York and Washington. Pass the word to friends and family Thanks

I can't believe that any human could be so hartless. I think this action was completly not nessesary. I'm not going to say anything about may the ... burn in he*l, but i'm not happy a human could do this. this disapoint me of the humanity. Some day, they'll pay for this, thrust me. (I'm having still English lessons)

The guy who planned this all... he has no humanity. No morals or anything. Just hates us. But we will win.------------------ A Tribute to Lives Lost

Hi jeffrey, You might want to change "thrust me" to "trust me" - it has a very different meaning in English WBM
