can anyone tell me how i can disable the automatic run of a custom level when i select new game in the Level player program? I want to build up a list of level, and the levels that have a quick install just autorun. Do I have to some how copy information from the dat files to one dat file which will hold all information for all levels? If so how do I access the information within a dat file- some wads i got gave me the chance to edit it and create a new dat file with the dos command but i am not sure about this either. Thanks, Jaxx IP: Logged |

Are you referring to the autosave feature loading the last project into the TRLE when you open it?If so look in the TRLE folder for a file called autosave.prj (I think that's right?)and rename / delete it Be aware that it sems to re-appear periodically for some reason (well it does on my system) If you are experiencing a different problem then please clarify and I'll try and help. ------------------ Conan the Barbarian IP: Logged |

You have to edit the script.txt. There is an option called PlayAnyLevel, you need to set it to ENABLED.IP: Logged |

Just because a level has an auto-installer doesnt mean that play any level is disabled in script. We are somtimes asked to set this in the dat files by the author so you can go straight to their level, but it's easy enough to change.Use TRWest to convert the dat files back to text, make your changes then use easylife or dos to recompile them back to dat.
