It isn't very hard if you try it for long. Just use Truemesh (don't ask me where to get it) and view all animations from an object that you want to convert. Write down all animation numbers and descriprions.
Them view the animations from the objects you want to make it. Open both objects in AI Edit and write down the state ids.
Remap the original object to the new one and change the order and stateids.
