i made my custom wad and a custom tga set. i loaded up the VCI tga set up first (thats the name of my custom tga set) and then the custom wad (the custom wad is called Return)

i make a simple room to try out and apply this grey texture on the walls and when i convert it and play the level the tga set i applyed doesn't show up??? and when i go on to the editor again, i load up my simple PRJ room and it won't allow me to load the tga set in?

then i did a test. i used the cleopatra wad and the cleopatra tga set and it worked fine. The tga i applyed appeared normally.

But when i use my custom wad and for example the city TGa it does the same. It just won't let me load my tga set when i load my project???

it gives me the error message as well.

ARG LIST TO BIG
then it says
COULDN'T LOAD VCI.PCX

???what does that mean??? i no it's something to do with the custom wad. i tell thee

PCX is not TGA

I had this and had to scrap it and start again - the editor was looking for a non-existant PCX file when I always use TGA for textures.

I think the project file may be corrupted in some way - but I'm only guessing

I haven't been able to sort iy out

I always save as I go and use a serialised save-

Mylevel-01
Mylevel-02
etc

that way, when 'it' inevitably hits the fan and everything goes South I don't lose too much work.

I hope you get it fixed - I couldn't

Save soon, save often is my motto

If you send me the project file, I might be able to fix that error. It should be pretty simple.
