Last year I was trying to make a slanted coastline, like in the pictures below, but with no success. What is the Trick to make a coastline like this. I know you need to make a door with only half of it being a door and half solid.HOW DO YOU DO IT?

It's done by lowering faces / cornersWhen you click on a tile in the room with face edit turned off, the floor tiles cycle from No white arrow on the red background to White arrow pointing N, E, S, W If you hold Ctrl and click the arrows point NE, SE, SW, NW once you have an arrow showing you use the floor + / - and ceiling +/- to raise / lower the edge or corner to which the arrow points (floor button for floor tile / ceiling for ceiling obviously) The scene you show appears to have the water as the floor and the shoreline as a ledge / series of ledges that has/have been raised and then bevelled down towards the waterline If your stuck, post again or email / MSN to tswippet@hotmail.com and I'll either 'chat' you through or make you a little demo with instructions and mail / upload it ------------------ Conan the Barbarian [This message has been edited by Conan the Barbarian (edited 09-15-2001).] IP: Logged |

I allready knew that but here is my problem in the picture below. The Only place where there is a door is on te entire squares. The half square triangles are still flat. So when you play the game you would be able to walk on the water part. how can I make the entire thing a door? Do you see what my problem is. I KNOW that its possible but I can't figure it out. ------------------ ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hold ALT and click on the broken surfaces. You can also do this when making corners of a pyramid. ------------------ Did ya know that Lara can breathe under water? IP: Logged |

Knew I'd read this somewhere!!!!Manual page 67: Diagonal corners –“ No collision” and transparency assigned to Triangle..... .... In Tomb of Seth room 15, go to the underside of one of these triangles (they will appear **** GRAY **** with FACE EDIT “on” and **** MAROON **** with FACE EDIT “off”).... ------------------ Conan the Barbarian [This message has been edited by Conan the Barbarian (edited 09-15-2001).] IP: Logged |
