i have absolutley no idea what i've done wrong. all i was trying to do was make a very simple trigger - lara pulls a lever, door a couple of rooms away opens and she can continue. simple. i've done it before.so why on earth does this door refuse to open?? i've tried everything - normal "step on the square" triggers, levers, pads, messing with the position of the door, the object bit codes... heck, i've even read the manual. can someone please help me!?? ------------------ i don't suffer from insanity, i enjoy every minute of it. What kind of door did you use? Is it from another wad? It can be the door on itself that cause the problem. I had it when i wanted to make a door open with 3 heavy triggers. Everything was setup right and the door opend already at the second heavy trigger...Dont use door type 3 of the guard wad. It's ment to be opend by the cog-switch.IP: Logged |

i'm using the official city wad, door type 5.[i just know the answer is going to be some simple thing i've overlooked and i'm going to be extremely embarressed when i find out what it is, but i've never been good at this sorta stuff. i forgot to put lara into the level first few times and wondered what on earth was going on when i played it!!] IP: Logged |

Try using door type 3. I had trouble with door type 5, I think it should be opened with a crowbar, but I am not sure if this is what was causing the problems with switches.------------------ I know of humor and I am sentient enough to have sense, so I must have a sense of humor IP: Logged |

the crowbar doesn't seem to work on it. i think i'll give up on that door and keep it locked forever, and just find another way for lara to get out of there.IP: Logged |

you need to put (i think) a 2 in the OCB for the door to use the crowbar.IP: Logged |
