I'm sorry this is the third time i've posted about this but i'm still having trouble decompiling script.dat in TRWEST, does anyone know an alternative to combing parts of different scripts into one by cuting and pasting from the scripts. Or a solution to my problem, you see, TRWEST crashes when i go to Options >> decompile script.dat
Is is a bug or something, any help would be really appreciated.
thanks,
Jaxx

TRWEST will decompile the script into the same folder as the current script and English.dat ..... so it may well crash if the txt files are allready there also......

So.... create a new folder and put the script and english dat into it, then when decompiling in TRWEST, use the ones in this folder...... The decompiled script.txt will appear in this folder, ready to read.

BTW.... which script are you trying to get? The complete TR4 one?..... I can mail it to you......

Thanks, I'll try that.

I'm just trying to get other scripts and make a main copy that holds all the custom levels that i've downloaded.

Ok though one thing... bear in mind that most builders will have their levels first in the script and hence their levels will be triggered 1---> 2 etc when you finish playing them..... so any multiple level games you put in your script might not work correctly......

Question: Are you doing it in the right order? You MUST load the english.dat file FIRST then the script.dat file.
