That is so much more professional looking than my levels! And look how long I've been here! That looks like a brilliant level. You could've fooled me into thinking thats an Core level!

I agree, it really does look good. Attention to small details in realistic texturing, avoiding patches of featureless expanses of space, lighting, its all good. It looks like you've even stayed within the 20 block fallout threshold too, which isn't an easy task at times.

You have a fine piece of work here and I'd encourage you to check out the rome levels in TRC & the Coastal level in TRLR. Look at textures and lighting effects for ideas. I love the use of high contrast shadowing in Rome... The upper areas of the level are considerably brighter than the ground level, for example. You can also play with the "sun" to create light and dark patches. Use a slightly blue tint to your shadow areas, and slightly red/yellow tint to your sunlit areas. Now getting everything to blend correctly can be a real pain. The stacked rooms in the original tut1.prj also shows great use of light & shadow blending. I never could duplicate the seamlessness in my own tut1 project.

Don't get me wrong though... this level looks great as it is, and is worth extra effort.

Thanks for the comments - they are really appreciated.

To make sure I am getting the gameplay correct does anybody fancy testing this level?

Nice pics, 160 rooms hey?!? Nice one I am only on 80 so far, but then I have over half more to do so... I wouldn't mind testing, not just yet though because i'm very busy, but in a week or so i'd be happy to.
