same here - seems like ages ago that I played it, but in fact I think it is possible to turn off the fire, not sure whether it is to get a secret or to progress in the level...

Hi Nayr!
Iīm replaying this level now to see if I can help you. How far in to the level are you?
Havr you just reached the room with the fireplace?
When you approach the fireplace there is some trembling, that means some train are leaving and some coming.
On the tracks underneath one of the trains that have left, there is a hole down in to the ground with a handle that you have to pull.

By the way - that station needs some serious foundation work if the trains make it rumble so bad!
