Everytime when I click on the Write ID button it always gives me an illegal operation when I try to open the wad in the level editor, and if I save the wad without clicking on the write ID button it doesn't give an illegal operation in the editor.
All I want to do is rename the objects I extracted from tr2 and the other tr games.
Hope you get what I mean.
I would appreciate some help. Thanks!

what does the write ID's thing do.

I press it and nothing happens
