My train level is basically done, the only problem is the jeeps that come up to the train and ninja's jump off, the ninjas won't jump.
What I know:
As long as the ninja is on the jeep it will continue to move forward. If the ninja is killed the jeep slows and loses speed like in TRLR.
AI is not used.
2 possibilities: Trigger settings or ninja OCB.

So I'm stumped, I need some way to get the ninja to jump from the truck.

Excuse me if I'm stating/asking the obvious

Have you been able to analyse the obkjects etc in the original levels??

I'm new to objects so don't pooh-pooh (or poo-poo or whatever)

    I'm interested

Email an expert?! Well what does that make me. I may not make the best levels but I do now the level editor almost inside out.

Yes I analyzed the original objects and it is done only by triggers. The ocb is correct, but I can't find if any of the 1-5 buttons are pushed or what trigger settings there are. But they do come up beside the train perfectly, they just don't jump off.

I wondered if it could be that the point at which they're trying to jump off onto the train is beyond their capabilities...

    i.e. +/- 1 block

maybe their AI follow? point is on the train to get them to jump

or maybe the trigger is on the ground and they run over it?

    just grasping at straws here....

How are you analyzing the original objects? Do you have a project (how did you get it)? If so, I should be able to get complete trigger and object settings.

2 programs, OCB viewer, and TRueView. They don't run over triggers or have any AI. The only to other possiblities are the 1-5 buttons in the ocb or a trigger setting. I tried th NL, D and P buttons but no luck. It's so frustrating when I'm so close.

You could place a baddy2 (or baddy1, don't know which are red-robed) on the car or wagon you want the assassin to jump on to, and when the jeep is exactly at the place you want the assassin to jump off, let the flyby snap back to Lara (if she stands on or in a car or wagon where she can't see the assassin jump) and trigger both the assassin and a scary audio track. He will not jump, but you'll think he does.

Yes but that would spoil the whole jumping onto the train thing. I thought it was one of the best parts. I will figure it out eventually, then I'll look back and kick myself for not figuring it out earlier. Thanks for the idea though.

This may or may not work, but place an AI_follow on the square where you want the assassin to jump off.

Tried it, with no luck and I know AI isn't used. Trueview displays all objects, and the jeep and the enemy are the only objects on the square. The OCB for the jeep and the baddy must be the same, in this case 101 for both. The baddy is on the jeep. I know it isn't a jeep setting because the jeep is supposed to lose speed and fall back behind the train. When I shoot the baddy off the jeep it falls back. I'm just confused. Any other ideas?
