I don't think they're going to do that but it's possible. Never say never. And may be they won't give us the trnxtg-editor but maybe the trc-editor. that would be sooo lovely.------------------

They are not going to release a level editor. TRNG is going to be made with wireframes, not block style like tr5 editor. I am almost 100% positive they wont. SorryIP: Logged |

that doesn't nessesairly means that Core won't use a level editor just look at Unreal, they also use "wireframe" and with the help of a LE take a look at this post for a screenshot: 004811.html ------------------ Tomb Raider - Ancient Legends levels (2), walkthroughs, tutorials, wallpapers and other TR goodies on driber.cjb.net !!! new: the full release of the OBJECTS ARCHIVE is out !!! visit the TRLE Chatbox for live online help with the LE IP: Logged |

Indeed Mr Driber, furthermore, I am still interested in the Unreal editor if it is available.------------------ The great tragedy of science -- the slaying of a beautiful hypothesis by an ugly fact IP: Logged |

The Unreal editor comes free with Unreal and Unreal Tournament. It's very advanced;has lots of great features...give it a go if you get the chance. IP: Logged |

No my friend i'm afraid they aren't.. I mean why do you think they released the TRLE we have now? They did that because they are changing the entire TR setup. And because of this they aren't going to release it.. However.. It's possible it will be released in a few years. (Yes years) That may be a long wait but then again.. So was the wait for our current TR Level Editor! Oh and on a side note.. I don't actually believe TRNG is made with an editor. I'm not saying it can't be.. Just i don't think it is. Well there's my 2 cents!------------------ IP: Logged |

Actually, almost every modern 3D game is made with some kind of editor. The point is,some teams write custom tools to help artists create the levels, while others prefer commercial 3D applications in which they build the whole level geometry. As far as i know,Core has switched to Maya but i dont know if they are using it just to model/animate objects,or for level building too. IP: Logged |

"intrested"...the Unreal Editor comes with Unreal and UT like skibsy said and also with Unreal Gold, so you may wanna check out your local gamestore for a good old copy of Unreal the regular Unreal has been out for quite some time now, so you can probebly get it at a low price or were you pointing in another direction with "intrested"?
