Hi, I create my first fully flash site, http://www.3dactionplanet.com/tombraider/news/site.html and I posted it for a review on a flash web site. EVERYONE I mean everyone said is sucks so much, THey were saying Im bad, stupid, failure, should give, just tell me...is it really that bad?

I was gonna have the sound start at the start of the movie and beware it sound gets messed up while pressing the buttons (i WAS gonna fix it).

So should I send this project to **** and never try again?

Don't send it to **** . Just work on it. The whole idea of making it look old with the lines and it moving I'm not crazy about but I like the rest.

its awesome! i think that maybe theres too many little lines though. maybe if you take sone out it will look better. good job! its better than ive ever done!lol! all my sites have a solid background colour with some writing and some pics! lol!

First of all cool guy...Do you understand anything about design..Flash has produced an ugly legion of wannabe designers who know nothing of the concept of a web site... A site is made to express, to sell, to induce profit.(not in that order)..it looks like you have a profit motivated site right? So why would you make so incredible difficult to understand or gain information from...you silly fool..Learn the basics and then create from there...good first try, now look again and ask yourself, Jesus Christ if I were a buyer would I even remotely want this chump to build my site if I can't even understand a thing thats going on....

I went crazy of those buttons.. and you should do the dust & scratches better..

Dislike:
Music SUCKS, either REALLY tone down the volume or get something better

Preloader sucks, man, couldnt tell WTF was going on

Buttons - argh ewww in one.

Didn't mean to make you mad and stuff. You asked my opinion and I gave it. What I think is if you like it, keep it. It's your work, you know how hard it is to make ( i haven't touched my copy of Flash yet) so you choose.

ok, just looked at it and here my opinion:
it was very "attractive" and fashy to watch
if you meant to make it in the style of those old black & white movies, then you defenitly succeeded
however, for a professional site the animations are a bit too much and get annoying
I haven't heard any sounds, so I can't say anything about that
but for your first try, you sure done a good job, so ignore those lame people dissing you like that

I personally dont know whats wrong with it. The version thats not up has slower animations, and I was gonna add the sound back but i have some problems with it. But i think ill take a break from it for a bit http://www.3dactionplanet.com/tombraider/news/larry/index.html thats what im doing now. Is this one ok?

looks very sharp to me
one suggestion though: make that half-circle blend in fluidly with the rest of the button of the menu

hmmm, that might sound confusing...lemme know if you get it, otherwise I'll post a screenshot
