Does anyone have American McGee's Alice? If you do, can you do something for me? Can you uninstall it, then restart your computer. Then reinstall it? Then after that play it. If it plays tell me if it doesn't play then tell me also. See I had played it and the graphics were superb, and uninstalled it last May. Now, I installed it and it will not play! I just load it up and there is a grey screen and the hour glass shows up on the screen. I can't even press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to restart my computer! I have to do a cold start every time!I wrote to Tech Support but they said that my graphics card didn't meet the standards. I told them that my graphics card was fine. I played the game before and the graphics were superb. They then said that I just got lucky. Why won't the game play now even when it I conquered it before? The funny thing is now I cannot even play any other games that are by EA Games. They all do the same thing: When the calculator starts, the screen turns grey, and the computer freezes. If anyone can help me, please reply or email me! Quickly! Thank you! ------------------

My specs are:
566 Celeron=Game recommends 400 P2
156 MB RAM=128MB RAM
11-16 MB Shared memory Graphics card=
16 MB graphics card.I meet them because I played the game before. I just unistalled it and now when I installed it, it will not play. ------------------

I had a system crash cause of a virus and everything went back to normal after i unistalled the game. It requires DirectX 7 and I have that. ------------------

try updating ALL your drivers (sound, graphics) i had Alice and i had the smae problem, updated my sound and graphics card adn ohhhh alicey fun, so much fun.....IP: Logged |

I went to install a certified driver and now Alice starts and flickers back to main screen saying it couldn't find the OpenGL drivers.Help! ------------------

There is something wrong with you cd-id.
I don't know what but it's probely damaged.
check you cd on any mistakes.------------------

Now the game starts up and then still locks up after I have gotten a bigger graphics patch. The funny thing is that Alice has a start up where it displays all kinds of words in a box and then starts. I had a demo of another game that did the same thing and it does the same thing! What's going on??------------------
