I also appear to be getting an error when I attempt to import a .DXF file. Apart from that the application works admirably.------------------ Technology is the knack of so arranging the world that we do not experience it. IP: Logged |

Thankyou for you answer Mr Pascal. I already have that version, However I am using an ATI Radeon video card, although if the application runs in every other respect, I am at a loss as to why it will not import a .DXF file.

Well, you are not so especifiq what the problem is, crash?, error message?, or just you get a black screen?, were you get the DXf?, do you built the object yourself?, whic CAD program are you using? Please, read carefully the readme txt about DXF files and more comun problems. If you are using lastest strpix then there is nothing wrong with strpix3, you should check if your DXF has all requisites for be imported: Layer's names, amount polygons, 3dface entities, scale, etc. You can't import ANY DXF that you want, there are some limits. If you are trying to import the whole Enterprise spaceship model in your wad, then most likely there are too many polygons on in. good luck. Turbo Pascal. IP: Logged |

It is an illegal message. I'll try to download the lastest one, and see if it works.IP: Logged |

be sure to have only 3D faces in the dxf files: select all meshes, then invert the seletion and DELETE all, so you are sure you have ONLY 3D meshes. In the exporting tell the program to convert everything in 3d facesIP: Logged |
