i have tried placing the switch in different places and the door in different places as well but the door just doesn't open when lara flicks down the switch on the wall. it just staya shut. This is how it goes.

ps.........the switch is in a flipmap room and the door isn't. is that wrong? oh and i did do all of the trigger stuff correctly

you cant use switches in flipmap rooms. you can get a door to open in a flipmap room i think, but you cant make switches in flipmapped rooms work.

if the switch is only accessable by flipmapping the room, why not try putting the switch in a room somewhere beside it that can only be accessible once you flipmap? that should work.

You can put a switch in a flipped room that operates a door in another room , you need to set it up like this:

Place the switch in the normal room 'cos you cant put it in the flipped room ,but it will still show up in the flipped room.

The important thing is to place the triggers for the switch and door in the flipped room and not the normal room.

This works if set up like this
