it's not completly done in a cad program.
the biggest job is in the tr4_exe slot.
I still can't figure this out.

I simply image an effect, and search for an oject that can do that.

or I search for objects and I try to completely change how they work in the game.

Then it is only at your skill and fantasy... you see the final object, but actally I usually do several objects before to be satisfied. Most of them you will never see, they are good in the game, but do not fit the story I have in mind for my levels.

Sometimes the first object is good very soon, but other times I work on the same object even for an entire week, to be satisfied both my meshes, either my textures, as all of them have to link very well with the rest of the level, and this is very hard, that's why I've released only one level, and I've been working on the second for more than for months, since the first days of june.

Simply start from an idea, then do not believe that everything you see is "completely true"... sometimes is only a good trick well done. (for example combining different objects together and make them as only one animated custom object....)

The unic problem is our fantasy, then our skills with the CAD

If I was good with the visual basic I could do a program to correctly importing animations done with a cad and make them compatible with tomb4.exe... but I am not, so I am begging for it to programmers.... (well I ask for animations done with 3D studio max 4 )

Yay i've created an animation.
A complete new one too.
Yes it is seen in the game but then in the movies so you couldn't see the object and use it.
It is a small moving U-boat, (Very small like a toy).
I'll release it when i fixed all the bugs.

jefrey if you could release you program, all of us could test it, and use it for our custom animations...

what's the problem in sharing it...?

turbo pascal and michiel share their programs....

I am not a programmer, but I share my knowledge in CAD and TRLE... every one here gives his help...

I understand you, but may I say that I am sorry because you do not want to share that program?....

Well I could be wrong because I don't know much about objects and stuff, but I downloaded this games creater called 3D GamesStudio and it came with and object creater and an animation editor.

You might be able to import animations into TRLE with it.

I'm not finished with it and there are so many bugs.
And yes i did use my program for the little U-Boat.
It's a animation editor that works easyer then michiels animation editor.
But like i said it's not perfect and there are a lot of bugs.
How to make something move i'll tell in the tuturial.
when the program is finished it will have support of ALL tr-games and you'll be able to add objects.
I still need to fix trc objects.
these are the hardest the vci levels are the hardest.
It really takes some time to fix these things.
It will be atleast take a year before i fixed all things.
But may be I'll release the first version this month.
It really works.

jeffrey my pc will be ready tomorrow in the evening (I am waiting for it to work even for myself).

so your lara with red glasses and a lasergun will be the first thing I will do when I got it.

So, please can you release that program?... we could test it and report bugs, don't you think?

Strpix and tr2wad or wad merger were NOT perfect when released, do you agree?

you can simply make us happy....

then, once released, I can even think about to create for you the showmobile vehicle you are asking for

...not a copy of the one from previous TR games, but an original one...

michiel as I still do not have my pc to work, can I with your AI_editor put the crow bar animation from cleopal.wad or from coastal.wad into my custom wad?....

As with TRWest I get an useless wad....

I remind that I have a completely custom lara, but I was able to import the torch animation and the vehicle extra for my buggy car.....

When I import the crowbar I get or a wrong animation or an useless wad... so your program is my last chance...

will I be able?

EUREKA.
After long hard coding.
After days and days.
After years and long months.
I made it.
The perfect animation editor.
You can change the animations complete.
It will search all animations that are in one wad.
including the animation from a baddie (hardest work).
Putt with trwad2 a wad from tr2 or what ever you want.
don't change it n'yet and open the wad with JA_B8.
Then you'll see all wrong animations etc.
The export the animation in to a dxf
and chance it with a cad program.
And Michiel, I meant you animation editor.
It isn't ready for release yet because it is still hard for people who aren't able to edit meshes.
So that why I'm going to make it lots easyer.
Is that fine to all of you.
I'll hope i can release it with christmas.
(X_MAS) Other program of me.
But you can forget this X_MAS because the cutscene creator doesn't works.
it's too hard that why i stopped.
It's very hard to make programs.
It's sure not easy if you're just a beginner.
And the 0011 etc.
It's so hard that i don't like to do it but for you all I think I'm just going to do it.
I can't promiss anything.
one wrong code and my program can be one big **** .
I haven't found a way to make a password on it so.
But what i want to tell you all is this big news.
I'll hope you're all happy now you've heard the news.

tr3 and trc objects in tr4 wads
won't be loaded yet in the animation editor.
New featurette: Add object including the dragon t-rex yay.

sorry jeffrey, but if it works why we have to wait? Not everyone is good on meshes, but not everyone can use completely even strpix....

so you release it for us even TO LEARN how to use it, don't you think? then it is good for people who are good with CAD programs....

I really beg you to release it as all my work depend on it, is it enought?....

then you can release better versions, please be good with all of us!

It has a lot of bugs and since it can not support tr3 and trc completly it has no use.
not yet atleast.

I need the right animations for Lara in the TR4, and to import some new custom animations done with CAD for my "perfect enemy".... you said this work, so for the moment this wonderful program could be enough, don't you think?

It does supports tr4.
Yes you can add new animations and yes you can fix animations.
It works the same as a cartoon.
with pictures but then meshes in place of the pictures.
But it isn't ready yet.
Hold on people.
It won't take long.
I'm nearly ready with all bugs.
I'm going to make it so that it will work with turbo pascals editor too so that you can use objects from different tr-games together.
