What exactly are you trying to do? Just put some ropes in your level? All you have to do is trigger them (they are invisible until triggered).

Place the rope object on the cieling where you want it, then trigger it before you get there, like placing the trigger right underneath Lara at the beginning of your level.------------------ Top 5 Favorite sayings:

Doh! sorry i havent the foggiest to what anyone is refering to, i couldnt even find anything about ropes in the manual, my friends and i spent ages trying to work it out the manual is too sparing in its descriptive criteria. I didnt know there was a trigger underneath lara at the begining of level also due to problems with running the editor in the suggested res, i can only apply triggers in 800 x 600 mode, any higher and it illegally operates,Anyway, i have a pyramid shape on its side on the ceiling, this is the object which represents a rope, this is as far as i can tell, i have lara on a plinth of stone, i just want to jump her to the rope and swing to a ledge oposite, i appreciate the help i have so far, but i need one sentence on how from step one to last step. So if you have five minutes to spare, also do i need a special anim in the wad to make her grab and climb, i know she has the pole climb in the wad iam using. Thanx for any help. IP: Logged |

1. place rope nullmesh(little red pyramid onto the ceiling. 2. select the nullmesh object and then click on the tile were Lara is standing, and click on the purple button for the trigger. 3. make sure that the ceiling is quite flat or the rope will not swing too far. 4. also make sure that you have the revised wads, as some of Laras animations will not work (i.e. rope swinging) 5. in game, when Lara steps on the trigger tile, the rope will appear.------------------ Technology is the knack of so arranging the world that we do not experience it.
