Hi everybody,

On behalf of all the Moderators and Members who have voted, it is my greatest pleasure to announce the above two candidates who received the highest number of votes in the TRLE New Moderators Election.

I would like to make it clear that the nominees above are NOT official Moderators until the Administrators have been satisfied that they are suitable for the job. So, in the meantime, there will be a period of 14 days or so where we will have to wait until they are ready to announce the outcome of their discussions with the new nominees. The decision of the Administrators is final.

Here is a graphical representation of the voting results:

The result for all other candidates not listed on the chart was below 3% of the total votes cast. As you can see, the vote was very fragmented due to the high number of candidates and the low electorate turnout. In total, only 36 people voted. If you want to work out approximately how many votes you received, multiply 36 by your percentage and round it down.

60% of the candidates received less than 3% of the votes. Therefore, this is not a reflection of your popularity! Rather, it is a reflection of the fact that there weren't enough votes to go around! However, the top two winners, received a whopping 30% of the total votes.

As the peoples' choice, the two nominees above will be put forward for consideration by the Administrators who will announce whether they are to become the new Moderators once they have successfully completed the interview process and obligatory humiliating ritualistic rigorous testing procedures.

It is my dearest wish that this announcement is responded to with gracefulness and pleasantries. If you wish to leave positive comments please do so in this thread. Any other thread on this subject will be deleted. Any comments which are in the vein of "Grrr I wasn't voted", "Boo hoo - nobody loves me", "That's not fair" etc are not welcome...

On that note, please join me in congratulating the nominees and wishing them the best of luck in their interview process with the Administrators. Also, many thanks to everyone who nominated themselves, and to all the Members for casting their votes. I would also like to thank my producer, my mother, my hamster..

Well, we have Commander Emma , Chief O'Brm .... and for Mr Driber, I see you as Wesley Crusher, so Mr Crusher it is. For Mr Sage however, that is a little bit more perplexing. I will need time to consider him further.

Thankyou to the 1.44 persons who indeed voted for me, however, I believe my role would have drastically changed if I were to become moderator, so perhaps it is better that I did not.

I am sorry to those two that I voted for even though they did end up getting a rather large share of the overall count.

i was just wondering what percent i got in the moderators vote. (if i got any that is)

because the graph doesn't show up on my page?????????
