Thanks folks!Hey Rene! I´m working on the level again. Don´t know if you could check my post about the computer exchange. I´m working with a slower and problematic machine now, because my partner here at the studio removed the Viper video card from the PIII. So I was left with my old sick PII. It´s a bit hard to edit with it but I´m doing it. But the crashes and texture bugs disappeared, don´t know why. OK maybe I know why. I removed almost everything from the WAD... Anyway it´s going to be released soon! IP: Logged |

Hey Michael! It will take a little while until I release the level. You know, I´ve spent more than a month just to solve all those problems. So now I´m finally thinking about good things as traps, baddies, the "normal" stuff you think about when building a level... It will be released with an updated version of City of Blezqi Zatsaz. Now that I know how to avoid certain problems, maybe I can include the cool parts that were left out of the first version you all know. I´ll recommend players and reviewers to play both levels as a whole, because a few things may change. IP: Logged |

I´ve heard people say my levels are a bit dark. Well they´re dark only in places that should be dark. I particularly don´t like flat and bright levels, specially if they are set in internal places. But I´m thinking about monitor differences. They´re not as dark in my monitors (both LG, 15" and 17"). Anyway I´ve increased the light bulbs intensity and ambient light a bit in all rooms. And, don´t worry, this time you will find more flare items to pick up. Creepy places!IP: Logged |

PLZ DON'T increase the ambient setting!! keep it @ 0 if it's indoor or it'll look unreal! instead, make the lights brighter. as my screenshot, every room (~10 here) has an ambient light setting of 0 ------------------ GeckoKid Interactive my ICQ UIN: 20984785 my MSN: geckokidinteractive@hotmail.com IP: Logged |
