I have uploaded the ‘Final Version’ of Lara Croft and the Lost Artifact of Heroic Manliness on my homepage, where you can also find additional information and screenshots.The download is now considerably smaller than that of the previous versions. If you own one of them already, you get away with 3.8 MB (zipped), because I decided to upload the .TOM file and the wad instead of a .tr4 file. (You don’t need to download the audio files again, but you will need to rename them; see readme).
The same applies to those who for whatever reason are afraid of large downloads; just download the main level files. However, let me take this opportunity to restate that I will officially approve only of the full version—that is, custom audio files included; which amount to ca. 14 MB.
I forgot to mention in the readme that when you finish the game, you will be kicked back to desktop. That’s because I have included a finish trigger in the level that refers to its prospective sequel (so you won’t have to download yet another version in which nothing has changed but the finish trigger).
You’ll find an extensive review of v1.1 (by Chris Robertson) on my homepage, and shorter ones over at Michael Prager’s site.
Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
