I'm having a problem downloading this level. Every time i try to open up the .exe file it initializes the set-up and flashes the flyby installer window (which quickly disappears). Can any of you help me out? I haven't downloaded a new level for months so excuse my ignorance.

WOrks fine for me, in fact I've NEVER had a problem with FLYDRIVE. Try rebooting your system and installing again.
