Hi everyone ive been gone for a long time but I just have one question, sorry not really a trle question.. but im trying to find the best software for compressing avis as small as possible... any tips??? thanks in advance!! later...

Does it have to be AVI?
AVI compression depends on the codec used. For any codec supporting AVI, the compression greatly affects the quality.
If you mean to make a download smaller, just ZIP it.
If you mean a smaller file to play (less disk space) then use ASF. Microsoft provides free encoders. The files tend to be smaller than MPG1 and almost as good quality.
