Hi everybody,

I'm trying to use the waterfall tiles from the extra textures folder included in TRLE (cascade.tga) and I have no clue or whatsoever on how to make them work.
These tiles are made up of three parts: a lower red band and two upper corners which are the water textures. If I put the whole texture, it will move as intended in game (after setting the animation range) but I see the red band and the two different corners. If I choose only one of the corners or both together and apply them to my project... it doesn't move in game! What do I have to do to make my textures look like moving waterfall?????
Can someone help?
Thanks
JB

easy: create a new room, no doors required. then texture this room with the WHOLE piece(64x64) of waterfall texture, not a quarter. then in your original one, just texture them in quarters like you did. then viola

Geckokid????
What to do with this new room with entire waterfall textures? Is it just a hidden room to have the whole texture working?
And I also tried to cut the texture out and make it bigger, but it wouldn't animate in game...
Thanks anyway..

Just make a 1x1x1 room and texture it with the texture in question (the whole texture, including the red band). You donīt need to connect this room to the rest of the level.

Actually you can place this texture tile anywhere in your level. Just take care to place it where it cannot be seen, like at the top of a pillar os some other high place.

Just for curiosity, you can check where the Core guys placed the animation tile in the Jungle level of TRIII. In the first level, after you slide down the huge slope with spikes, take left towards the mud lake with the save crystal. There are some waterfalls in that area, where you can find a secret. The tile is on top of the last waterfall pillar, near the tree in the corner of the room. You can get there using the corner bug in one of the pillars.
