I'm working on a new project (I won't say what yet) and I'll need a couple of things, so....

1) Has anyone ripped the script file from the full TR4 game? One that includes ALL levels? If not, is there a tool tht can do it?

2) Has anyone ripped usable wads from all the levels in the full TR4 game? If not, is there a tool that can do it? If so, why hasn't anyone done it yet?

I sure hope there are some yes answers in the bunch. It would make things alot easier.

Like my simple but philosophically deep sig?

I know TRWest can decompile script files. I just wondered if anyone had gotten the entire script file used in the production version of TRLR.

Sorry about the WAD question. I just now checked and sure enough I have them all. But I'm not sure if they have the same name as the ones that came with TRLR. Weren't there a bunch of them named joby? I only have one, the rest appear to have been renamed. Guess I can sort that out myself eventually.

A couple more tests and some coding, and I might report some prelimiary results if things look good.

yes, a lot of them were called like that
I remember someone posted a list of the corresponding levels not so long ago, do a search query on "joby" since 30 days ago, I think something will turn up then

Thanks. For what I'm trying to do, everything needs to be named in a standard way. The original TR4 names would be best.

Now if only the forum would start remembering my login again so I don't have to do it everytime I post.

It was working until a couple of days ago.

Oh, if the entire TRLR script has been decompiled, where can I find it?

That's ok. I loaded TR4 and was able to convert them myself. The script file, the wads, the textures, now all we need is...
