Is it just me or is anyone else finding that it takes an incredibly long time for the forum to load pages? I have pictures and animation switched off. I'm using a 512kbps cable conection and am in the UK.

Answers on a postcard please (they'll reach me before I can refresh this topic).

I'am using a normal speed line (56 Kbps) and the load time is something like 3 seconds.

I have the most slower computer in the world, and I can't update my sond and video card because the last update (In the SIS site) was in the last year. I have to play games in the lower resolution-320x200-to the game works fine!!!

I have DSL and I'm having problems. It appears to be getting slow response trying to load some images in the sigs. I just click Stop and the page comes up without the images. I can then see which servers are having problems by which images didn't load.

Of course, I have the browser set to check for newer versions everytime I access a page. If I used the cache more, it might load faster.

the slower conections r faster

i use 56k and loads almost instantly
